(44) Poverty and Paths of Social Innovation: the fio.PSD necklace
Recently reviewed by According to Welafare, the volume is only the first of the “Series Poverty and Paths of Social Innovation”, which stands as a privileged laboratory of thought open to comparison between all those who intend to reflect on social practices, in particular sector scholars, experts and operators, as well as a tool for presenting and disseminating experimental initiatives and good practices regarding social inclusion and the integration of people experiencing forms and different intensities of poverty (absolute, relative, extreme, housing, feeding, etc.).
The Series favors mono and multidisciplinary studies, theoretical and applicative, that analyze the multidimensionality of the need linked to the housing condition, to material and relational deprivation, to health and serious marginalization. For this purpose it includes two sections as follows: Theory and Research (Section I.); Methods and Tools (Section II). They are part of the series, studies on social and housing policies, on local welfare, on the results of the social, health and social integration projects; studies on migratory movements, on social security and equality, on urban poverty, sulla homelessness, on the connections with the individual and psychological dimensions of well-being; on living spaces intended as places of social construction; on the organizational and professional dimensions of working with people in conditions of serious marginalization. All publication proposals are subjected to the referee procedure (peer review), based on an evaluation that is expressed always and for each work by two anonymous referees, selected from university professors and / or experts on the subject.
